Hygiene appointment this morning with Lorraine Huyton, ably assisted by Alice. The team was very friendly, approachable, and highly skilled. Lorraine was very thorough and made some useful observations and recommendations. I highly recommend Helens Bay Dental Practice.

I went ahead with the veneers I have been planning, and can only say the usual attention to detail and client care was more than present, and I am OVERJOYED with my new smile!!! This has totally uplifted my confidence; I’m no longer self-conscious and covering my mouth to laugh or smile, I’m proud of my big grin and amazing new teeth, and the compliments from friends and family who are stunned by the difference and how natural my smile looks. I cannot give enough thanks to Sarah and the team for all their work!!

I came to Helens Bay Dental on the recommendation of a friend. I have had implants, restorations, and root canal treatment. Gareth Small is an outstanding dentist and I just love his attention to detail. An outstanding dental practice. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

On the 1/12/25 I was nervous and apprehensive as I was beginning my dental implant journey. I didn’t know what to expect but I needn’t have worried as the dentist, Edward, and dental nurses, Beata and Alison, put me at ease immediately. Before I knew it, my teeth were out and my posts were in. I felt no pain and was supported through it all. A few hours later my temporary implant arch was fitted and already I could smile with confidence. They are a wonderful team and everyone I have been in contact with has been pleasant, helpful, and supportive. Just another few weeks and I will have my permanent implants. My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner. I would 100% recommend Helens Bay Dental to anyone who is still thinking about taking the first step towards implants. Thank you to everyone in this amazing dental practice. I am counting down the days to my permanent teeth. Today I got my permanent teeth and I am absolutely delighted and as always the care was 5-star. Thanks to everyone.

From the surroundings to the staff, Helens Bay Dental Practice provides a superb experience from start to finish. Extremely friendly, professional, and a pleasant environment to be in. They have invested heavily in the latest and most up-to-date equipment, which makes for more relaxing and less stressful dentist visits. I’m delighted with the service I have received over the past year, from implant surgery to fillings. If you are nervous about the dentist, this place will really make you feel at ease. I’ve never felt any pain during any of my treatments. When my next appointment comes around, I don't feel anxious or nervous like I have in the past with other dentists. I'd recommend their services to anyone without hesitation.

I used to be a very nervous patient, before visiting Dr Sarah Lochead at Helen's Bay Dental Practice. The environment is very relaxed and friendly and the treatments I have received over the years have been amazing, as this Dental Practice uses all the latest, up to date dental technology and techniques. I could not be happier with the standard of care and treatment I have received. Sarah is by far the best dentist I've ever been to. All the staff are so welcoming and friendly and I highly recommend this practice. I no longer dread going to the dentist.

I had an All-on-4 dental implant with Helens Bay Dental. I cannot recommend them highly enough. As a very nervous dental patient, I was unsure I could go through with the procedure. But I am so glad that I did. I now can smile again and take part in family photographs. My confidence is amazing and I cannot thank Gareth and the team highly enough.
