Eddie Small qualified in Dentistry with Honours from the University of Manchester in 2021. Following qualification, he completed his Foundation year in Berkshire, where he remained for several years before returning to join the family practice here at Helen’s Bay.

Eddie has undertaken extensive postgraduate training in implant dentistry, completing courses with Dentale, Foramen Education, and the Global Implant Institute in Dubai, as well as training at the Zimvie Institute in Zurich. He has also attended ITI Conferences and ADI Congresses, and completed a year-long course in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry. He has lectured at conferences on implant dentistry and has had articles published in the field of paediatric dentistry.

To ensure the highest standard of restorative work for patients, Eddie established an in-house dental laboratory at Helen’s Bay. His primary clinical interest is implant dentistry, especially transforming patients’ lives with single tooth replacements and full arch restorations.

Helen’s Bay has been part of Eddie’s life since childhood, and many of the patients he now cares for are people he has known for years. He is proud to continue the family’s tradition of putting patient care first.

Outside of dentistry, Eddie enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and being involved in the local dental community.
