We’ll begin the process with an in-depth consultation. This is a chance for us to get to know your smile and understand the changes you’d like to see.
During this appointment, we’ll examine your teeth, take digital images or scans, and talk through what you’d like to change. If veneers are the right option, we’ll create a tailored treatment plan just for you.
We’ll start by gently removing a small amount of enamel from the front of your teeth under local anaesthetic, preserving as much of your natural tooth as possible. We’ll then take digital impressions so our lab technicians can create the perfect veneers for you.
We may fit temporary veneers to protect your teeth while your permanent veneers are being made.
When your veneers are ready, we carefully place each one, make any final adjustments, and bond them into position. We’ll check your bite, polish the veneers, and ensure everything feels completely natural and comfortable.
Looking after porcelain veneers is simple. Just follow a good daily hygiene routine, visit us for regular check-ups, and avoid habits that could damage them, like biting your nails or opening things with your teeth.
Veneers are stain-resistant, but we recommend limiting dark-staining foods and drinks, like coffee, tea, or red wine, to help maintain their brightness. If you grind your teeth at night, we may suggest wearing a protective night guard.
